Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary, recognized as the Best Animal Nonprofit in Jacksonville, operates as a non-profit wildlife rescue in Jacksonville, Florida. This sanctuary focuses on providing refuge and care for big cats such as tigers, lions, leopards, cougars, and lynxes, many of whom have been subjected to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. The sanctuary's primary mission is to offer these big cats a permanent home where they can live safely and comfortably. Catty Shack takes in animals from diverse backgrounds, including those from private ownership, roadside zoos, or other facilities unable to provide proper care.

To educate the public about the plight of these animals and the importance of conservation, Catty Shack offers guided tours that detail the individual stories of the cats and the broader issues facing big cats in captivity and in the wild. The sanctuary's operations are supported by volunteers, donations, and community involvement, with various ways for visitors and animal enthusiasts to contribute to their cause, including financial donations, sponsorships, and volunteer work.

We loved it they have over 40 tigers and other different rescued animals, the feeding at night was a real nice experience and you get to be real close to the animals.

Wonderful experience!! The animals were very well taken care of and very friendly staff. We were able to able to get a close up view of the beautiful cats and there were plenty of places to sit and rest in the shade.
